Dr. Robert Gore

Robert Gore

Dr. Robert (Bob) B. Gore was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the northern suburbs. He attended Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, where he graduated Cum Laude with a BA degree in Psychology. He then studied medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where he obtained his Medical Degree. Bob also met his future wife, Marge, in Los Angeles while she was attending USC Law School. Bob and Marge moved to Denver in 1978 where he completed his four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After his residency, Dr. Gore practiced at Rose Hospital for the first 10 years of his career and then moved his practice to the south metro area in 1992, where he currently practices at Swedish Medical Center and Sky Ridge Medical Center. Dr. Gore has served on numerous committees and has been the Vice-Chairman of the Ob-Gyn department at Rose Hospital and the Chairman of the Ob-Gyn department at Swedish Medical Center. Bob and Marge have a son, Steven, who was born in 1983. Their favorite activities include hiking, biking and walking their prison rescue dog, Asa. 


Carrin Atencio

Carrin Atencio

Carrin Atencio, our office manager, grew up a true westerner. She has lived in Nebraska, Alaska, Arkansas, Wyoming, and Colorado. Before working for Dr. Gore, Carrin worked in two OB/GYN offices as well as at the labor and delivery unit at Sky Ridge Hospital. Carrin loves the youthfulness, happiness and energy of an Ob-Gyn practice and excels in both the front and back office services. She is extremely compassionate and caring, especially in difficult situations. Carrin married Chris Atencio in 2000, and they have an amazing daughter, Kasen, who is the light of their life. Kasen has a big mutt, who is a goofball named Golfball, (Kasen's idea) and who serves as a reading pillow for Kasen in the evening. Carrin is the go-to person in Dr. Gore's practice who will try to answer all your questions or at least research the answers for you.
 


Ashley Fresquez

Ashley

Ashley Fresquez was born and raised in Colorado. She is married and has two amazing children Lexann and Izaiah. Ashley has been a medical assistant working in OB-GYN for 8 years. In February, 2011 Ashley received an American Red Cross lifesaver award for preforming CPR on a choking 17 month old child. Ashley's goal is to further her education to obtain a nursing degree. She enjoys camping, scrapbooking, playing softball, and baking. 
 

 


Rachel Sausser

Rachel Sausser

Rachel Sausser was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived there until 1999 when she moved to Denver. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Genesis and Aubrey (a teenager and a toddler!). Rachel has worked in the OB-GYN field for many years as a receptionist, medical biller and scheduler. She brings a thorough personal and professional knowledge to her job and can answer most administrative and medical questions.

 

 

 


Mindy Willits

Mindy

Mindy Willits grew up in Eustis, Nebraska and completed her undergraduate studies in nursing and women’s healthcare at the University of Nebraska. She received her advanced practice nurse practitioner degree at the University of Colorado School of Nursing here in Denver, Colorado. She worked for 23 years with Dr. Peter Vargas, a solo practitioner Ob-Gyn in the central Denver area. Mindy’s lengthy and vast experience in Ob-Gyn enables her to handle all the office responsibilities that Dr. Gore can. She is especially interested in contraceptive management for young women and menopausal and peri-menopausal issues for us older folks. She also has extensive experience with ultrasonography and obstetrics. Mindy has three children, two girls (Lindsay and Whitney) and a son (Billy). She also is a proud mother to two big dogs (Zoe, a Bernese mountain dog, and Clyde an Airedale).
